About Don

An independent video and filmmaker since the 1980s, Don continues to pursue his stated goal of balancing "teacher, artist, and professional." A Yale University graduate (B.A. Sociology) with an M.A. in Communication Arts and an M.S. in Counseling, he has written, produced, directed and edited a wide variety of productions including documentaries, film and television drama, talk shows, music videos, commercial, promotional and educational programs. 
 

Don has been chair of the New York Tech Communication Arts Department since 2012 and, as full professor, has taught graduate and undergraduate film and TV production classes as well as varied cinema studies seminars. 

 

Don is the originator and curator of “Free Flicks”, New York Tech’s classic and revivalist film series.
